WHO WE ARE
ABOUT US
The O’ahu Filipino Community Council (OFCC) was established in 1959 in O’ahu, Hawai’i. They operate under the umbrella of the United Filipino Council of Hawai’i (UFCH), which encompasses a larger network of Councils on each island. As the largest Filipino organization both within UFCH and in Hawai’i, OFCC is dedicated to advancing and supporting the Filipino community through a broad range of social action initiatives. These efforts encompass government advocacy, health and welfare, media and the arts, cultural preservation, education, communication, and linguistic development.
OFCC functions as a federation comprising diverse organized groups, including associations, clubs, and student organizations, all connected to the Filipino experience through cultural, educational, and community-oriented activities. In 2024, the Council oversees 44 member organizations, each contributing to its mission of community enhancement and cultural enrichment.
